Chicago/Doobies was incredible concert!!
We decided to take our kids (11 and 16 yrs) to the Chicago/Doobie Bros. concert, having been fans of both bands in the '70's. IT WAS AN INCREDIBLE CONCERT. What was really surprising was how great the voices still are, NOBODY sounds old or weak! Each band plays for an hour and then they join forces and play together for an unbelievably tight, loud, finale of 5 songs that had the audience screaming on their feet to the likes of "Taking it to the Streets" and "25 or 6 to 4." Even better now than 35 years ago, because the sound technology has evolved so dramatically you can hear every tambourine beat, every voice, every horn, and the arrangements are as sophisticated as ever. Really, astonishingly well done and POWERFUL. It was my 11 yr old son's first concert. We were all blown away.
